Solving installation and initial setup problems
While every attempt has been made to make the software installation as fast and simple as possible, at times the installation process may not run as smoothly as planed. This can be due to:
- Inability of your computer to read the installation disk
- check your drive
- ask your Weather-Pro agent for another copy of the Software
- System files that are older than the files required to run the Installation
- The Installation procedure will install updated files and then ask you reboot your computer.
- Once the computer restarts you will need to run the Installation procedure again
- System files that are older than the files required to run the program
- The Installation will ask if you want to replace the older files on your computer. Select Yes in each case
- The Weather-Pro Context Sensitive Help system requires Internet Explorer. Some early versions of Windows 95 did not have Internet Explorer installed. If, after installation, you find that the Help System does not work, you may need to install Internet Explorer. This can be installed from the IE4 folder of the Weather-Pro Installation CD.
